Yendegaia National Park is the result of public-private collaboration between the Government of Chile and the Yendegaia Foundation, a branch of the conservation project run by Douglas and Kris Tompkins.〔(YENDEGAIA National Park Created! ) tompkinsconservation.org December 12, 2013, retrieved January 28, 2014〕
